Additional conductive coatings can also affect a copper-resistance measurement. For multilayer finishes, specify a measurement method capable of distinguishing the required layers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. How does the CMI95M measure copper thickness?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It uses microresistance technology. Place the probe on the exposed copper surface and read the thickness indication. Hitachi specifies a measurement time of less than one second.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. What is the measurement range of the CMI95M?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The published range is approximately 5\u2013140 \u00b5m, corresponding to nominal copper weights from 1\/8 to 4 oz\/ft\u00b2.
